Do I have to change the information on my website constantly to rank well in the search engines?
Yes and no. The content on your web site should be fresh, unique and relative to your industry in order to encourage search engines to crawl through on a regular basis. Adding fresh content to your site is a great way to naturally keep the search engines coming back to your web site. Not to mention, it gives you more opportunity to employ the latest SEO methods and optimize for additional keywords/phrases.
So while it’s important to add fresh content, you don’t have to be a slave to your web site.
Each time you do make a change, and search engine crawls through your site, it is another opportunity to change your search engine placements. The more often they come back to crawl through, the more quickly you can see the results of your SEO efforts.
